Comprehensive nSEE Testing
Our neutron and gamma dosimetry capabilities within the NTF provide invaluable insights for research and development into material and component behavior in radiation-prone environments. With cutting-edge technology, including a 14 MeV neutron generator, and integrating a 2.45 MeV neutron generator, this facility stands at the forefront of nuclear effects research.
Radiation Dosimetry
We have complete capabilities including thermoluminescent dosimeters (TLDs), foil activation, spectrometry, and GAFchromic film. Meticulous analysis and measurement of radiation doses are crucial for components destined for space missions and other applications where radiation resilience is paramount. Precision is the hallmark of our dosimetry services.

Assurance
When you rent the NTF, we provide a test operator, dosimetry, ESD workstations, power (120 VAC and 208 V 3-phase), and activated material handling. We also offer laser alignment, a test cart for setup, test filtering, and HDPE shielding bricks, and if needed, two different prefabricated HDPE enclosures for moderated nSEE testing. The shielding for support electronics is available as well. Our team can design custom filtering for tests to accommodate unusual parts or multiple articles.
